DONATIONS AND SOURCES OF THE EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

• The AERFund was established to provide emergency financial assistance to Arizona Army National Guard families, in the form of loans or grants, to soldiers and their dependents with a valid need.
• One of the primary sources of the AERFund is from annual voluntary contributions by soldiers (M-Day & Retired) and DEMA civilian employees.
• Your contributions to AERFund are tax deductible, for income and estate tax purposes, as gifts to a charitable organization.
• You will be sent a receipt for your donation. Funds, and their distribution, are managed by the AERFund Board of Directors.

DONATIONS AND SOURCES OF THE FAMILY ASSISTANCE FUND

• All funding is through corporate and individual donations.
• For income and estate tax purposes, all contributions to Family Assistance Funds are tax deductible as gifts to a charitable organization.
• Funds and their distribution are managed by the Family Assistance Fund Operational Committee.
• There is no overhead cost for the fund. 100% of the donations go to Reserve families or soldiers.
